Taylor already officiated PSG twice this season in the Champions League, a 3-0 win over Real Madrid in September and 2-0 result against Borussia Dortmund in the Round of 16 in March.

In the latter, Emre Can was sent off for Dortmund in the final minute, a game packed with seven yellow cards.

Taylor’s record with Italian teams is of six wins, one draw and four defeats, but it’s his first time with Atalanta.

He most recently officiated Inter’s 2-0 Europa League win over Getafe last week.

He officiated PSG on three occasions, all of them victories, while with French teams in general there were six wins, two draws and only one defeat – at international level in the Nations League against the Netherlands in 2018.
