Igli Tare says Lazio will bring in a centre-back and a winger but “we’ve already invested a lot”.
The Biancocelesti have sold Antonio Candreva to Inter, while Miroslav Klose left at the end of last season.
“I think a central defender and a winger will come in,” sporting director Tare told Sky.
“Bastos and [Paul-Georges] Ntep are two names who could become Lazio players, but there are also other options.

“The problem is that everyone will forget that we’ve already spent a lot on the transfer market. The signing of [Ciro] Immobile, that of Wallace, [Jordan] Lukaku… those have cost Lazio a lot of money, we’ve already invested a lot.”
Moritz Leitner is close to joining the Aquile from Borussia Dortmund, and Tare spoke earlier in a Press conference about the new acquisition.
“What are his characteristics? His presentation will be used to answer questions like that. He’ll be judged over time, we’ve never presented him as a superstar signing but he has features the team needs.
“Above all, he can return to being the player who created expectations around him two years ago. The same thing happened with Candreva, and thanks to the trust of the club he became a top player.
“When we make these signings it’s because we’ve watched the player throughout the year.
“Is he Candreva’s replacement? Leitner has nothing to do with Candreva, they’re different players. We’ll make choices based on what the team needs, on what’s required on the pitch. “The beauty of football is that even unknowns can become important.
“That doesn’t mean we’ll go hunting for unknown players, but we look for players with certain characteristics.”
