Italy made a complaint to UEFA after a large Swastika was etched into the turf for their game against Croatia.

It was particularly extraordinary because this Euro 2016 qualifier at the Stadion Poljud in Split was behind closed doors because of racist chanting from Croatian fans against Norway.

The abomination was spotted from the stands and the Italian FIGC pointed this out to UEFA authorities in the arena.

Evidently the Croatian FA also realised there was a problem, as people rushed to cover it up during the half-time break.
