Lecce defender Cristian Dell’Orco underwent surgery for a herniated disc, confirmed the Serie A club.
The 26-year-old had the procedure on Thursday April 30, in agreement with the Sassuolo staff, as he is currently on loan with option to buy at the end of the season.
So far this term, Dell’Orco has made 11 competitive appearances for Lecce.
It’s unclear how he sustained the injury, as the squads have been on lockdown for over six weeks now.
