Representatives of the Suning Group will arrive in Italy tomorrow to continue the process of appointing a new Inter Coach, reports suggest.

The Chinese ownership is split with members of the board over which direction to take following the sacking of Frank de Boer.

It’s thought vice-President Javier Zanetti and sporting director Piero Ausilio want an Italian Coach, with Stefano Pioli their preferred candidate.

Meanwhile, the ownership are keen for a more glamorous foreign name, with former Villarreal boss Marcelino currently in pole position.

According to Gazzetta dello Sport, representatives from Suning will arrive in Italy tomorrow to try and move the process along.

That would fit with previous reports that a new Coach will be appointed on Sunday or Monday, ahead of the international break.

One person who won’t be taking over at San Siro is Andre Villas Boas, who looks set to join Shanghai SIPG in the Chinese Super League.

It’s expected that former Lazio Coach Sven Goran Eriksson will be sacked, with the Portuguese to replace him.
