“We deserved the victory, we created so many chances – especially in the first half of the game,” the summer signing noted.

“We deserved the victory, we created so many chances – especially in the first half of the game,” the summer signing noted.

“It’s a shame that we conceded the two goals we did – one from a set-piece and the other because of a lack of attention.

“But this result changes nothing for us as our objective for the season is to finish in one of the top three places.”

After 16 games this term, the Giallorossi are second in the table after picking up 38 points. They are now five adrift of leaders Juventus and three clear of third-placed Napoli. Fiorentina are fourth with 30 points.
