“I think that my work will be judged at the end of the season and not now,” he stated on Wednesday.
“I’ve always had the President’s backing, but he is in charge and can make whatever decisions he wants.
“My future will be decided by the results at the end of the campaign, not by one game. I never give up, I’m focused and giving everything that I have.”
Stramaccioni was speaking on the eve of the Europa League game against Tottenham, a tie that is firmly in the favour of the English.
“We have to just think about this game. The 3-0 will be hard to overturn, but we want to win. We’ll also need a little bit of luck,” he stated.
“We’ll give it all we have got. Our squad is limited, but we want to honour the game.
“Tottenham have an awful lot of quality. We'll try to contain them and we'll see how well we manage that tomorrow.
“You need more energy in this competition than the Champions League. If I could go back in time, I would have made different team choices.”
The Nerazzurri have slipped to fifth in Serie A which places them four points adrift of their Champions League objective.
“I need to find the way to get this team's confidence back,” he added. “That's something we're lacking at the moment.
“Not a lot of things are working for us right now. It is up to me to give security back to the players. It's my job to take stock of the negative moment we're in and get the team playing confidently again.
“A Coach must always keep a clear head. There's work to do but we're determined to lift ourselves out of this situation.”
Stramaccioni was promoted from the youth team set-up last March to mastermind a new era with a younger Inter.
“The hardest thing is defending the long-term project even when things aren't going well,” he continued.
“There's been some fierce criticism recently, but I've always tried to put what I can do to good effect on the pitch.”
