Marco Storari says he has no regrets about accepting a reserve role with Italian champions Juventus.

The custodian was signed by the Old Lady in the summer of 2010 to step in for the injured Gigi Buffon, but he’s been the second choice now for the last 18 months since Buffon’s return to action.

“I’m happy that I’ve chosen Juventus and that I stayed here,” the goalkeeper, who appeared in the 3-1 win over Atalanta” data-scaytid=”8″>Atalanta on Sunday, stated.

“Our Coach Antonio Conte has always spoken frankly – there are hierarchies to respect and I’ve decided to make myself available to the team.

“I’m 35-years-old and I think I have enough experience to be able to help the squad.”

Storari appeared in three League games this term, but he’s been used in the Coppa Italia and he’s set to defend the goal in the May 20 Final against Napoli.

“I’m ready for it, absolutely,” he added. “ I always train as if I were to play in every game.”
