Roberto Stellone admits Frosinone “had to suffer” for their last-gasp victory at Verona, “but it was too important.”

The Canarini secured the 2-1 result in stoppages with Alessandro Frara’s header, taking them to third from bottom, just one point adrift of Carpi.

“We had to suffer for this victory, but we wanted it so much. It was just too important and the side that believed the most ended up winning,” the Coach told Radio Rai.

“Verona were dangerous on set plays, but we never lost our shape and found this goal that gives us three very important points.

“It’s a long road to safety, but it was too important today that we keep up with Carpi. Now there are five crucial matches.”
