Dejan Stankovic will say goodbye to Inter fans before the game against Genoa this weekend following his decision to leave the club.

The midfielder, 34, is a free agent after he agreed to rescind his contract with the San Siro giants in July.

Stankovic joined the Nerazzurri in January 2004 from Lazio” data-scaytid=”7″>Lazio and, after 42 goals in 326 games for the outfit, he will be permitted to say farewell in person.

The ex-Red Star player won the Scudetto, Coppa Italia, Italian Super Cup, Champions League and the World Club Cup with Inter.

Stankovic had already written the fans a touching open letter after he terminated his Beneamata agreement last month.
