Catalan daily Sport claims the Blaugrana have found ‘a verbal agreement’ with the former Juventus midfielder, with Sky Sport Italia adds they are ‘a step away’ from signing the 30-year-old.
Sport explains Barca first reached out to the Chilean ‘a week ago’ and ‘quickly reached a pact’ over his salary, as well as a €30m fee with Bayern Munich.
