Luciano Spalletti oversaw his first Napoli training session today at the Dimaro Folgarida summer camp, but eagle eyes noticed the club’s plan to produce their own kits isn’t going well.
The new coach was pictured by the official Partenopei social media channels keeping a close eye on his players, including Victor Osimhen and Andrea Petagna, as they went through their paces.
There were supporters present in the stands of the mountain resort and they spotted something interesting about the jerseys and shorts used by the squad.

Napoli allowed their contract with Kappa to expire and decided not to sign with another kit sponsor, instead President Aurelio De Laurentiis pledged to begin producing his own shirts, shorts, socks and gadgets.
That doesn’t seem to be going to plan yet, because Calciomercato.com spotted the players were training in the 2020-21 kits.
The only difference is that someone covered up the sponsor name Kimbo on the back of the shirt with a sticker that says SSC Napoli, as that contract has also expired.
