According to this morning’s Gazzetta dello Sport, Spalletti is keen to bring one of his current midfielders with him to the Nerazzurri.

Kevin Strootman is seen as the less likely option, as he has verbally agreed terms on a new contract which would run until 2021.

The Dutch international feels grateful to the Giallorossi for standing by him during his injury woes, so the likelihood is that he’ll remain.

That leaves Radja Nainggolan as the other target for Inter, and it’s believed the Lupi would rather sell the Belgian, if they have to sell one of their midfield stars.

However, it’s thought Nainggolan would prefer to move to the Premier League if he leaves this summer.

Also on the Inter radar is Lyon midfielder Corentin Tolisso, also a target for Juventus, and sporting director Piero Ausilio is expected to fly to France to negotiate in early June.
