“I’d have felt under scrutiny even if we’d got through the group [in the Champions League],” Spalletti shrugged, speaking in a Press conference today.

“I’d have felt under scrutiny even if we’d got through the group [in the Champions League],” Spalletti shrugged, speaking in a Press conference today.
“You’re always under scrutiny, as far as I’m concerned, one day when we have more time I’ll tell you about my career to get to Inter, they are beautiful stories to tell.
“Rumours don’t bother me, maybe the support they want to give me annoys me, because if someone wants to give you support it means they want to help you, but at the same time they’re saying you can’t do it alone.
“Let’s say I’m more sick of what you want to insinuate by writing it.”
New CEO Giuseppe Marotta gave public backing to Spalletti yesterday, saying he should be left to work calmly.
“Marotta’s words are pleasing, and what I’ll say is that I’ve had a lot of messages about not giving up, but I have the solutions inside. I’ve already been here, I know this subject.
“I’ve been in dressing rooms with teams which have lost 13 games in a row. The support pleases me, but it’s just one thing more. These are words which can even damage you more.”
