Paulo Sousa believes his Fiorentina side are getting close to their potential after the 4-0 win over Empoli.

“We are getting close to our idea of the team,” Portuguese Coach Sousa told media sources after the final whistle.
“We were lacking confidence because we create a lot, but at times it hasn’t been enough.

“After the first goal, we were calmer in our management of the game. When you score the second and third it changes everything.
“Empoli are a team who play well and they we very up for the game.
“We finished it off and the team controlled it.”
Fiorentina next face Greek outfit PAOK in the Europa League on Thursday.
