The Italy international left Florence to join Levante during the January transfer window after struggling to break into Sousa’s Viola team.
However, his move was just a loan and he could still return to make an impact in Florence in the future.
“The move wasn’t easy,” agent Andrea Pastorello told Tuttomercatoweb.

“The move wasn’t easy,” agent Andrea Pastorello told Tuttomercatoweb.
“I think we did the right thing for the player and for Fiorentina, who may see a revamped guy come back who had some problems with the tactical module of Sousa.
“The important thing was to find a team that believed in him. Sousa set up a system that wasn’t right for him.”
