Fiorentina Coach Paulo Sousa is “not expecting” anything on the transfer market – “it’s up to the club”.

The Viola have been linked with Bari youngster Gaetano Castrovilli, and could even make a shock move for Sampdoria’s Antonio Cassano.

“I don’t expect anything,” Sousa shrugged in his Press conference ahead of the Napoli match.

“When we met in Lisbon I told the club what we needed to improve. After that, it’s always up to the club to make the decisions.

“I’m happy to Coach, that’s my great passion. I try to improve myself and the players.”

The Tuscan side can reach the Coppa Italia Semi-Final with a win tomorrow, but the Portuguese is expecting a very tough game in Naples.

“They’re a club who have been fighting to win the Scudetto for several years, and to challenge in the Champions League.

“This year they’ve taken good decisions with their reinforcements, that means they have consistency and flexibility.

“That had problems up-front, then they fixed it on the transfer market. They can compete at a high level in the League and Champions League.

“What matters in this game is getting through, looking to win in every competition. They see it as we do, and they’ll want to win.

“It will be a good game, just like our last meetings, but we hope for a better outcome.”
