Il Mattino report that the Partenopei will bid for the Tottenham striker as a replacement for the Argentina international, should they receive an offer that’s too good to refuse.

Arsenal were heavily linked with Higuain last summer before his move to Stadio San Paolo, and interest in the striker is still said to be there.

And if that is the case, the paper claims that Rafa Benitez’s men will go for the former Valencia goalscorer.

Soldado has been something of a disappointment for Spurs this term, but Benitez is still reportedly interested in the Spain front-man.
