Inter defender Milan Skriniar notes “the objective is Champions League qualification, but we have to take it one game at a time.”

The Slovakia international was on the field in last night’s World Cup qualifying win against Slovenia.

“The season has started well and I hope to continue in this vein for both Inter and my national team,” the former Sampdoria defender told Mediaset Premium.

“I always want to help the team and in turn they help me. Perhaps that is why I settled in so well at Inter, it’s easy to play with such great teammates.

“There are a few centre-backs in the side and it’s up to the Coach to decide who plays when. We must try to win every game and then see where we are. The objective is Champions League qualification, but we have to take it one game at a time.”
