The Italian Under-21 international is being paired with Juventus and Roma, but his agent insists a decision on where he’ll be playing next season won’t be made anytime soon.

“Mattia is just focused on helping Siena survive,” Renzo Contratto told Roma News.

“At the end of the season, Siena will sign a 50 per cent share in him from Genoa and then some new options may arise.

“However, for the time being, it is useless to talk about it.”

Destro recently admitted that he would be in favour of teaming up with Under-21 colleague Fabio Borini at Roma.

“We have a good relationship with Roma, but that is the same situation with other teams,” Contratto continued.

“We spoke with Roma last summer, but no negotiation was ever started.”

Destro, formerly on Inter, turned 21 earlier this month and he’s scored six goals in 21 League games for the Tuscan minnows.
