Zamparini has encouraged Al Hokair to buy a majority stake in the Sicilian club and awaits further developments in the New Year.
"One day I will sell my majority stake in Palermo because I cannot worry myself with the club for eternity," Zamparini told Sky Italia.

"One of the ideas is a sale to the Arabs because I dream of a Palermo capable of winning the Scudetto and a group of directors capable of making strong investments."
Turning his attention to other things, Zamparini revealed Palermo's strategy ahead of the transfer window opening again in January.
"I am thinking about the January signings," he said. "We are finalising two. I want to finish our transfer campaign by Christmas.
"Milan Milanovic will arrive [from Lokomotiv] in June. We are talking about a fifth signing. He is a player who we had already watched last season, but he will train with us already in March.
"There will be no sales in January: we will send some youngsters like Kasami, Rigoni and Darmian probably to Serie B to play."
