According to German magazine Kicker, Juventus are leading the race to sign Shaqiri if he does decide to move on mid-season.
The 22-year-old can play in various attacking roles on the right, left or centre.
His contract with Bayern Munich runs to June 2016 and last season he scored six goals in 17 Bundesliga appearances.
