A Government decree announced last night that all sporting events in Italy will be played behind closed doors until April 3.

This allows the clubs to release their grip on the fixture list, but they are shuffling the games on by a week, changing all the original dates.

It means the postponed Week 26 matches are now taking place this weekend, instead of Week 27.

Meanwhile, the Lega Serie A also announced a change of date for three games called off in Week 25, which had originally been scheduled for March 11.

Atalanta-Sassuolo, Hellas Verona-Cagliari and Torino-Parma are all kicking off simultaneously on Wednesday March 18 at 17.30 GMT (18.30 local time).

As for the fourth game, Inter-Sampdoria, that will be played at “the next available date,” which depends on the Nerazzurri’s Europa League and Coppa Italia progress.
