Serie A kick-off times could be brought forward from Week 31, according to RAI Sport, as the heat has not been as damaging as expected.

When this unusual season had to be played in June and July to make up for the coronavirus lockdown period, the Players’ Association were adamant kick-off times had to be late in order to protect the athletes from summer heat.

However, the weather hasn’t been as hot as expected and RAI Sport, along with news agency ANSA, claim there are plans to bring the kick-off times forward.

Games in Italy are starting at 17.15, 19.30 and 21.45 local time, meaning they don’t end until around midnight local time.

It’s reported the 21.45 matches will be brought forward to 21.00 or 21.15 local time.

As for the other fixtures, those could be shifted from 19.30 to 19.00 or 19.15.
