Romelu Lukaku should start on the bench again for Inter, but the Nerazzurri prepare to welcome their legend Dejan Stankovic, now in charge of Sampdoria.

It kicks off at 19.45 UK time.

The Nerazzurri aim to secure their fourth consecutive win in Serie A. They are without the injured Marcelo Brozovic, but the rest of the team is available.

Francesco Acerbi is favourite over Stefan de Vrij in the middle of a back-three. Lukaku is expected to start on the bench again with Edin Dzeko and Lautaro Martinez up front.

The Argentinean contributed to four goals in the last two games. Inter are unbeaten in nine of the last ten Serie A games against Samp, the only defeat in the process was in January 2021.

Inter legend Stankovic returns to the Stadio Meazza for the first time as a coach and as an opponent.

Fabio Quagliarella is injured and so are De Luca and Harry Winks. Samp won just one of the last 20 away games at Inter. They sealed all three points against Cremonese on Monday and could win two consecutive matches in a row for the first time since November 2021.
