Watch as Inter get the better of Verona with a pair of Ivan Perisic assists for Nicolò Barella’s spectacular volley and an Edin Dzeko tap-in, but both goalkeepers had saves to make.
Perisic went for goal himself first, denied by Lorenzo Montipò at full stretch, then opted to set up Barella on the volley at the back post.
Tucu Correa and Edin Dzeko forced saves too, before Perisic flicked on the Federico Dimarco corner for Dzeko from close range.
Samir Handanovic kept out Giovanni Simeone one-on-one, with Federico Ceccherini, Kevin Lasagna, Hakan Calhanoglu and Ivan Ilic coming close, but Montipò palmed a Danilo D’Ambrosio strike onto the upright.
