UEFA and the European Club Association had agreed to remove the restrictions banning UEFA competition from taking place on a weekend.

However, it’s reported a majority of Serie A clubs have already warned they will not accept that shift and will only play domestic fixtures on Saturday and Sunday.

FIGC President Gabriele Gravina reiterated today that the preliminary idea is to resume on May 2-3, but it all depends on how quickly the coronavirus pandemic passes.

The plan is to finish by June 30, although they can burst into July if necessary.
