La Repubblica reports that they estimate that between domestic and foreign TV rights for Serie A, in addition to the Coppa Italia, Italian clubs stand to lose out on close to €430m, should the season not be concluded.
Additionally, taking into account match day revenue and merchandising, the Rome daily suggests that the final figure could be around the €700m mark.
Should the season not be properly completed, it’s reported that the clubs would turn to the government and Minister of Sport Vincenzo Spadafora for assistance.
