Dejan Stankovic makes his Serie A debut as a coach in Sampdoria‘s away game at Bologna tonight.

The Serie A strugglers meet at the Stadio Dall’Ara at 19.45 UK time.

Bologna lost both their games under new coach Thiago Motta and there are reports that angry ultras threatened players at their training ground on Thursday.

Delio Rossi in 2015, became the only coach to lose his first three matches in charge of the Rossoblu. Musa Barrow is the only player out of action for Bologna.

On the other hand, Samp sacked their coach Marco Giampaolo after last week’s home loss against Monza, with Inter and Lazio star Dejan Stankovic coming in as a replacement.

The former midfielder must do without Manuel De Luca and Harry Winks, who is still dealing with an ankle problem.

No team has lost more games than Sampdoria in 2022 in Europe’s top five leagues (19 out of 27).

The last time they won at Bologna was in November 2012. The Blucerchiati have lost the previous seven games against the Rossoblu in Serie A, conceding at least twice per match.
