Stefano Sensi assures Inter are “on the right track” under new Coach Antonio Conte after a 1-1 draw with Juventus.

The Nerazzurri lost the penalty shoot-out in this International Champions Cup tie in Nanjing, after Matthijs de Ligt saw an own goal cancelled out by Cristiano Ronaldo.

“The Coach had asked us for intensity and to go chase down the opponents,” former Sassuolo midfielder Sensi told Inter TV.

“The Coach had asked us for intensity and to go chase down the opponents,” former Sassuolo midfielder Sensi told Inter TV.

“In my view, we had a great first half and then got a bit too deep after the break, largely thanks to the heat. We are working and trying to put the tactician’s ideas into action, especially in defence, so we are on the right track.

“We need to work on improving our possession football and vertical passing channels.”
