SPAL are rooted to the bottom of Serie A with only nine points from 16 games this term, and Semplici wants to see his players go for a win at Toro tomorrow.
“I think the time has come for us,” he conceded at a press conference. “We have to get a result because we need the points.

“I think the time has come for us,” he conceded at a press conference. “We have to get a result because we need the points.
“We know we are facing a big match. We will have to go there to win, without thinking about playing for a draw.
“I want to play a game with high pressing and conviction. We have nothing nothing to lose. It will be up to us to show our quality throughout the whole match.”
Federico Di Francesco and Gabriel Espeto could be available, but Semplici was not yet in a position to confirm them, although he did thank President Walter Mattioli for his vote of confidence.
“In principle, yes. We are evaluating. It’s already great to have them back. We will decide tomorrow.”
“The trust from the board is pleasing. We’ve shown that we are united and that’s important.
“Those who feel that they can continue to help us should. The ones who don’t must stay at home.
“This will be an important aspect over the next two weeks. We must be united and that has been our strength over these years.
“We have never experienced such a situation before and that’s why the whole environment must demonstrate that we are united.
“We want to save ourselves and we will try to do it in every way possible. We all have to pull in the same direction to stay in Serie A.”
