Despite SPAL remaining in the relegation zone, their Coach believes they are on the right track in their bid to secure Serie A survival.
“It’s clear that your motivation comes out more against the big sides.
“The path we are following is the right one. Even if we had lost, we have still worked well and with intensity.
“We thank the fans for their attitude and closeness to us. The result is also down to them.
“We have no regrets, we played the match we had to.
“Going head to head against Inter in an open manner could have cost us dearly. Right now, points are more important.”
