SPAL were the only newly-promoted side in 2017-18 not to go straight back down to Serie B and achieved that with a strong end to the campaign.
“It’s a victory we dedicate to the fans and the club. I hope we can keep building on this and do far better. Some players only arrived two days ago.
“In the circumstances, an away win like this gives us a lot of confidence for the future, allowing us to keep working with enthusiasm.”
