“The three points we earned against Lazio should give us more confidence going forward. At the same time, we’re aware that we’ve achieved nothing yet, as there is much to improve,” said Semplici in his Press conference.

“Sassuolo are a very different team to us, but we’ll go there to battle for the victory, aware of our own strengths and capabilities.”

Gabriel Strefezza impressed coming off the bench against Lazio, but the Coach is reticent to start him.

“He is a young lad who can give us a great deal this season, but I want to introduce him slowly. It’s up to me to find the right moment and role for him. The same goes for Igor and the other youngsters, as they are still settling in.

“Federico Di Francesco can take on several different roles in attack and at this moment I see him more as a forward than a winger. He has a lot of quality and ought to score more goals.”
