Alexis Sanchez has only scored once in Serie A for Inter, but that goal came in the only match he has started alongside Lautaro Martinez in the League.

Tonight, the South American duo will combine again as coach Antonio Conte has decided to rest Romelu Lukaku and Christian Eriksen, paving the way for the Chilean.

Martinez, who has had an impressive second season at the Giuseppe Meazza, has been a regular starter this term (22) and has scored 12 goals in his 25 League games.

But the Argentine has previously been the one to step aside when Sanchez was to get a chance in the starting line-up.

The Manchester United loanee, on the other hand, was hit by a serious injury as he started to get warm in the Nerazzurri shirt and had just opened his account in his first start, before getting sent off in the 46th minute of an eventful first half against Sampdoria.

That game, he played alongside Lautaro Martinez for the first time and has since only started two more in the League – in the 4-2 win against Milan in February and the 3-3 match against Sassuolo after the resumption in June.
