Udinese goalkeeper Simone Scuffet is set to spend another year on loan at Turkish club Kasimpasa.

According to Gianluca Di Marzio’s website, Kasimpasa asked Udinese for a season-long extension on his current loan deal, which is due to expire at the end of this month.

The 23-year-old joined the Super Lig side in January and helped them stay afloat in his 11 appearances.

Scuffet made his debut in Serie A aged just 17, replacing the injured Zeljko Brkic in a match against Bologna in 2014, and went on to play 39 times for the Zebrette.

The youngster was highly rated when he first burst on to the scene and had attracted the interest of Atletico Madrid.

However, injuries and a loss of form saw him plummet down the pecking order at the Dacia Arena.
