Goalkeeper Simone Scuffet looks set to leave Udinese for Serie B club Como, in spite of interest from Atletico Madrid and Fiorentina.

The 19-year-old was considered one of the most promising goalkeepers produced by Italian football in a long time, but it seems his prospects have been scaled down.

Scuffet was given scant playing time with the Zebrette in the past season and looks set to leave the club on loan.

Interest shown previously by Atletico Madrid has long whithered as they picked up Jan Oblak instead, while Fiorentina's offer to take the player on loan with a buyout clause was turned down, as Udinese would rather stay in possession of the promising U21 Azzurrino.

Scuffet will therefore move down to Serie B, in all likelihood to Como. According to La Gazzetta dello Sport, the two clubs are close to a deal.
