“It is certainly a situation that we are evaluating, but everything is still up in the air right now,” continued the official.
“There may be some developments after Ferragosto [August 15].”
Schelotto is looking for a new club after being frozen out of the set-up at San Siro by new boss Walter Mazzarri.
The latter dropped the midfielder, who was only signed from Atalanta” data-scaytid=”14″>Atalanta in January, from pre-season training.
The 23-year-old, an Argentine-born Italian international, scored one goal in 12 League appearances for the Beneamata in the last campaign.
