Sparta Prague Coach Zdeněk Ščasný has been “impressed” by Lazio and expects a “great” game.

The Czech side take on the Biancocelesti in Prague tomorrow, with both sides looking to extend their unbeaten Europa League runs and reach the Quarter-Finals.

“I’ve never thought about that [unbeaten] statistic,” Ščasný insisted in the pre-match Press conference.

“It would have been better to lose twice in the group stage and win tomorrow.

“I’ve never thought about that [unbeaten] statistic,” Ščasný insisted in the pre-match Press conference.

“It would have been better to lose twice in the group stage and win tomorrow.

“What are their weaknesses? I’ll keep their weaknesses to myself, I’ve followed them in a few games and though they aren’t playing well in Serie A the League won’t count tomorrow.

“I followed the match against Galatasaray and they impressed me on the counter-attack and in recovering the ball.

“They have good depth in every position.

“Lazio are a great team, we’ll be playing in a full stadium. It will be great.”

Ščasný was then asked about a striker for each team, with questions over David Lafata’s fitness.

“I don’t know what they’re expecting in Italy, but we have different possibilities. He was a bit tired after the last game, but I can’t tell you if he’ll play from the start. You’ll know tomorrow at 8pm.

“Miroslav Klose? We’re not preparing to play against Klose, but against the whole of Lazio. We know Klose is a strong player, we saw him against Sassuolo and he played well alongside Djordjevic against Torino.

“We’re talking about a high quality player.”
