“Saviola is ready. He always was ready – as Luca Toni always says, he was born ready!” explained Mandorlini in a Press conference.
“He proved it in the past and I hope he will continue to prove that in the future. He could’ve played against Palermo on Monday and he could play tomorrow, or not.
“Saviola is an important player and I want to put him in the right conditions to give his best. He is calm and aware there are some already-consolidated balances in the squad.”
Emil Hallfredsson is away on compassionate leave, Jacopo Sala and Alessandro Agostini are injured, while Juanito Gomez Taleb is not 100 per cent fit.
