Cagliari striker Marco Sau has admitted that he is excited to be working with Coach Zdenek Zeman again.

The pair teamed up at Foggia for the 2010-11 season, and after the Czech tactician was named as the new man in Sardinia, the 26-year-old has revealed that he is delighted to be feeling the strain under ‘The Bohemian’.

“I really hope he’s the Coach to take us back where we belong,” he told Corriere dello Sport.

“It was a strange feeling to know that I’d be back working with him, but when I heard I was delighted.

“Training has been very tiring, I have to be honest! But this is the time of the season when you have to work really hard.

“We had some difficulties last season, but that chapter is closed now – we’re all focusing on this campaign.”

Sau then commented on rumours that he could leave the club this summer, with Torino and Fiorentina” data-scaytid=”21″>Fiorentina both on his trail.

“I’ve honestly not heard that. That club has only given me positive signals – so I’m not thinking about going anywhere.”
