Inter forward Martin Satriano scored the equaliser when Simone Inzaghi started with a win on penalties against Lugano. ‘I’m trying to learn as much as possible from Lautaro Martinez’.

The 20-year-old, who arrived from Nacional in January 2020, started the match against Lugano on Saturday and helped Inter bounce back from going behind by two goals.

Danilo D’Ambrosio scored the first goal for Inter, before Satriano equalised and took the game to penalties.

Ionut Radu saved two penalties, and Andrea Ranocchia scored the decisive spot kick to give Inzaghi a positive outcome in his first game in charge of the Nerazzurri.

Satriano has yet to feature for the first team at San Siro but has scored 15 goals in 34 games with the Primavera side.

“We had a good game,” he told InterTV after the game. “We are working well in these days. I’m very happy with the goal and also with how we played.

“For me, it’s a great feeling to play with this shirt, next to these champions. I’m really happy.”

The young centre-forward revealed he’s inspired by Argentine striker Lautaro Martinez.

“He’s certainly one of the best players at Inter,” he continued. “At Appiano, last year too, I watched him closely to learn as much as possible.”
