“Napoli did everything and more to take Politano in January,” Davide Lippi confirmed on Radio Marte.

“Napoli did everything and more to take Politano in January,” Davide Lippi confirmed on Radio Marte.
“I did my best to help, but there were a lot of problems with Sassuolo. Napoli were willing to spend a big fee for Politano, but the deal didn’t happen because Sassuolo needed him too much.
“In the end he was crucial in them staying up. Napoli tried in the summer too, but Inter moved first.”
