According to Sportitalia, the negotiations are at an advanced stage and could be completed over the next couple of days.
Paloschi has been at the Stadio Bentegodi since January 2013 and only recently signed a contract extension to 2019.
He found the net nine times in 37 Serie A games last season, also providing three assists.
