Giaccherini joined the Partenopei in the summer of 2016, but he’s consistently been on the fringes of the team and has played just 60 minutes in four Serie A substitute appearances this season.
“Giaccherini is a product that isn’t easy to find in January,” Furio Valcareggi told TMW Radio.

“Giaccherini is a product that isn’t easy to find in January,” Furio Valcareggi told TMW Radio.
“He’s a player who is fresh and up to speed. We’ll definitely leave Napoli and we’re making moves.
“There’s nothing from Russia or Turkey, that’s just nonsense, but there’s plenty of interest in Italy.
“I don’t think Chievo will let [Roberto] Inglese [who is on loan from Napoli] leave in January now because the President is worried about their position, but we’d go there voluntarily.
“We like the team and the city, we’ll wait and see. He’s a player who can play anywhere as we saw at the European Championships.
“Fiorentina were looking at him over the summer, but I haven’t heard from them now and that’s a shame because he could make the leap at the Viola.
“I don’t know about Atalanta, if they sell someone it could happen.
“Advice for Simone Verdi? They always play the same way at Napoli, with Sarri even Dybala would struggle to find space.
“But we have chatter and he has numbers, and the Campanian Coach has his reasons for doing what he does.
“Verdi is doing well at Bologna and he needs to think about it, not least because it’s a different level at Napoli.”
