If Maurizio Sarri takes over at Chelsea, they’ll also go for Raul Albiol, Elseid Hysaj and Piotr Zielinski, all with release clauses at Napoli.

According to Sportitalia, the tactician’s entourage held a seven-hour meeting with Chelsea today, working out the basics of a two-year deal.

This would include paying the €8m release clause in Sarri’s contract, which is still necessary, despite Napoli firing him yesterday to make way for Carlo Ancelotti.

Sportitalia again added this evening that Sarri has requested three members of the Napoli squad who all have release clauses in their Napoli deals.

They are defender Albiol, full-back Hysaj and Poland international midfielder Zielinski.

Of the three, it’s believed the only one Ancelotti is eager to keep hold of is Zielinski, who has also been a target for Liverpool in recent months.

Kalidou Koulibaly and Jorginho would also be wanted by Sarri, but they do not have release clauses and the Senegalese defender is not for sale.

Jorginho, meanwhile, is in talks for a potential move to Manchester City, as confirmed by his agent.
