Sarri’s side face Udinese tomorrow, and the Coach warns it won’t be an easy game.
“Udinese have an excellent Coach [Gigi Del Neri], a good squad and they have attacking potential. They’re also solid thanks to Del Neri.
“It’s a difficult game, in spite of what you might think. We’ve expended a lot mentally, in seven days we had two matches with Juve and a head-to-head clash with Lazio.
“Duvan Zapata? He can create big problems, he’d have been a rotation option for us for certain games but he didn’t want to be a rotation player and he asked to leave.
“He has great speed and physicality, but he’s also dangerous if he can use his body on a defender, it’s best if we keep him away from the box.”
Finally, the Coach was asked if he had any Champions League regrets after drawing Real Madrid in the Last 16.
“With a different draw we could have been the surprise of the Champions League,” Sarri replied.
“Instead the draw handed us the world champions.”
