Reports in Italy suggest Chelsea have 48 hours to get Maurizio Sarri from Napoli, or Antonio Conte could stay on.

The Blues are looking to appoint Sarri as their new Coach, but he’s still under contract with the Partenopei and they haven’t yet released Conte.

Napoli are playing hardball over their former Coach, who has already agreed a contract and a staff including Gianfranco Zola and Giovanni Martusciello.

Time is running short now though, as the Chelsea squad is due to meet up for pre-season next week.

As a result, a 48-hour deadline has been set to resolve the situation, or Conte could even be kept on.
