The 22-year-old has been heavily linked with a move to Inter over the past few weeks, and the club's chief has admitted that it would be hard for the player to turn down the Nerazzurri.

“We know that when there is a big offer from a club ooutside Brazil, it is difficult to hold on to a player of Wellington's quality,” he told FutNet.

The defensive midfielder has been virtually ever-present in the Sao Paulo starting XI since his debut in 2008. He is valued at around €6m.
