Davide Santon's representative has failed to rule out an Inter exit for his client during the January transfer window.

Santon's future with the Italian champions remains unclear given his lack of regular playing time at San Siro.

Although Renzo Contratto has insisted rumours of an approach from Fiorentina are untrue, he did concede that the player would evaluate any offers that do arrive.

"I have never received any phone call from Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo Corvino," the agent noted on Monday.

"I have never received any phone call from Fiorentina sporting director Pantaleo Corvino," the agent noted on Monday.

"However, we remain on alert and ready to consider any bids that do arrive. For now though Davide is just concentrating on Inter."

The Italian international hit the headlines in 2008-09 after impressing under Jose Mourinho, but poor form and fitness issues have affected him ever since.

He gradually lost his place in Mou's plans and has struggled to break into the tactical thinking of new boss Rafael Benitez.

"Santon is happy at Inter, even if at this precise moment he is not content with his current situation or about how his Coach considers him."

Santon, contracted to Inter until 2013, has also been associated with moves to Genoa and Parma in recent times.

If a move does occur then a loan switch or a co-ownership deal, rather than an outright sale, are the most likely options.
